Now that the holiday season has passed, it is a good time to review your business.  If you are still operating your business under a DBA, now is a good time to discuss protecting your personal assets from claims associated with your business.  

Forming a limited liability company (LLC) or a corporation can accomplish this.  The process is not as difficult as you may think.  We arrange for the filing of all the documents with the New York State Department of State, we prepare your operating agreement or shareholder agreement, obtaining a corporate book, we also obtain your tax id number for you.  In a relatively short period of time, you will be official.  We also have an online questionnaire that allows for you to complete most of the process from your smartphone, tablet or computer.
